Measuring the Impact of Educator Competency on Math & Science Scores in Grades 6-8
In this study, I worked as a research assistant with Dr. Paul Chase, where I helped design surveys, conduct interviews with Engage2Learn staff, and analyzed student standardized test scores to determine if there was a positive association E2L teachers and testing scores. As a result, the study was deemed as "promising" according to the Evidence for Essa website.
Advanced phonics and multisyllable routines
As a researcher at LXD, I helped prepare various Digital Promise applications by conducting secondary research, writing public-facing blog posts in the user's voice, and preparing literature reviews of research-based practices applied in the context of ed-tech products.
